Rocks Rocks and more Rocks...Beach rocks, Beach Pebbles or there may be other names, but these are so fun. I'm constantly amazed how many people handle my Rocks and when I tell them they are handmade, it doesn't sink in until I tell them HOW I make them and then they are astonished and say "you mean you actually MAKE them? Wow!" yes...
By purchasing all these Tutorials you save more than $8 off the regular purchase price PLUS you get my bonus tutorial of Faux Landscape/Picture Jasper.
This Series is filled with 190 clear photographs, 65 pages and 167 steps of easy instructions.
This series is packed with enough knowledge to get you started in creating more than a dozen different types of stones...With only a few colors and tools you'll be able to create a range of beach pebbles that should fool the naked eye. The only deception is their light weight. Inspired by real beach pebbles, in this lesson you'll recreate cracks, textures and ocean tumbled forms. Create stones of any size or shape, and then drill them with ease. Tutorial Part 1 shows how to create 3 types of basalt rocks, 2 types of quartz veins, one slightly cracked and one banded and one black basalt rock with different shading, cracks/marks that enhances realism. Lastly some red Jasper with inclusions and some tips and tricks to make your pebbles stand out. Tutorial Part 2 focuses on Stones with inclusions such as speckled pink/white Granite, various types of Quartz, and Ryolite. And the latest Part 3 shows how to make Lava rock (vesicular basalt), Epidote (greens with gray and quartz), and gray Pumice. You'll be able to create a variety of stones...(sorry, actual pebbles not included)
