I love Sand Dollars. There is something magical about them. Found on so many places around the Globe, from the Tropical to the Northern Climates, there are many shapes. Some have cut outs, some have key-holes and some are thick like cookies, hence the name sea biscuit.
Sand dollars are often included in Beach Weddings or pendants worn as Wedding Jewelry.
My handcrafted sand dollars are stronger than the real thing, especially in these small sizes. You may not know, but real sand dollars will disintegrate as they biodegrade, but these will last.
I handcraft these Sand Dollars from Polymer Clay with a cane making technique known as milifiori. Check out the super close up of the 25mm piece or the 18mm earring on my fingers.
My sand dollars are domed and shaped for added realism.
The back is the same design as the front.
Size: 20mm tall and about 20 mm wide, but there are larger sizes available
Overall length of earring from top to bottom: approximately 45mm or 1.75 inches (1 3/4")
Color: white with off-white
